JOIN A COMMITTEE
Political Action Committee
This Committee is responsible for publicly informing lawmakers of the importance of the film industry, with an emphasis on job creation and economic impact. This committee also engages local municipalities, including mayors, first selectmen, and Chambers of Commerce, to help educate stakeholders about film and television production and the economic impact it could have in their communities. Additionally, this committee addresses educational workforce job placement and general economic growth within the film entertainment industry in the state of Connecticut.

Education Committee
This Committee is responsible for working with private and public universities, colleges, high schools, and vocational trade schools to provide a bridge between education and the film and television industry, with a focus on job creation, job development, and retention of students. This Committee will provide workshops, training, seminars, and other educational growth opportunities for the industry professionals, while also furthering the goal of building a stronger and more sustainable workforce to support all aspects of the film and television industry in Connecticut.

Networking and Events Committee
This Committee is responsible for engaging CTFTVA members with networking and professional development opportunities. Foci of the committee include:
Social Media: Outreach to raise awareness of the Alliance and engage the public and industry executives, led by the Social Media Coordinator and a Board Member.
Membership: Attract and retain members, handle outreach, and collaborate with other organizations to strengthen relationships within Connecticut’s entertainment industry.
Events: Organize mixers, networking events, and fundraisers to support the Alliance's mission.
Fundraising: Raise funds through sponsorships, partnerships, and grants, managing finances for Alliance activities.
Film Festival & Cultural Awareness: Collaborate with film festivals, theaters, and arts programs to build connections and support cultural initiatives statewide.
